DTF PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use a lint roller to remove any lint on the t-shirt’s press area.

2. Pre-press the garment for 5-7 seconds to remove moisture.

3. Place the design on the garment and press according to “Press Settings” below. You may need to do a few test prints to find the optimal press settings for your specific equipment and environment.

4. HOT PEEL OR COLD PEEL?

     a. FOR HOT PEEL FILM: DO NOT ALLOW TO GET COLD. After pressing, wait 5-10 seconds, then peel the film from one corner in one consistent motion.

     b. FOR COLD PEEL FILM: WAIT UNTIL THE TRANSFER IS COOL TO THE TOUCH, then peel.

5. Post-press the garment for 5 seconds.

*NOTE: When pressing, using a teflon sheet between the press and the design produces the best results

DTF PRESS SETTINGS

1. Actual press settings may differ due to equipment used and environmental conditions such as room temperature and humidity. 

2. Press at medium to high pressure.

 

3.1. FOR HOT PEEL:

     a. 100% Cotton:  start at 230-260F for 15 seconds and adjust as necessary

     b. Polyester Blend:  230-260F for 15 seconds and adjust as necessary 

     c. Peel 5-10 seconds after pressing.

3.2. FOR COLD PEEL:

     a. 100% Cotton:  start at 325 for 15 seconds and adjust as necessary

     b. Polyester Blend:  270-290F for 15 seconds and adjust as necessary 

     c. Peel when transfer is cool to touch.

NOTE:

1. Actual press settings may differ due to equipment used and environmental conditions such as room temperature and humidity. 

2. Press at medium to high pressure.

DTF Care  Instructions

Storage:

Transfers should be stored in a dry place, ideally in a Ziploc bag

Garment Care:

Wash garment with warm water. 

Tumble dry at “delicate” setting.

Do not iron design directly. If necessary, iron at low setting on the inner side of the garment

Sublimation Pressing Instructions

  1. Set temperature on heat press to 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit. (do a test print prior to set accurate temperature)
  2. Set timer to 60 seconds.
  3. Set Pressure at medium.
  4. Place sublimation paper image face down on garment. ...
  5. Press at 400 degrees F for 60 seconds with medium pressure.
  6. Remove paper immediately and peel hot.

For best most vibrant color use on 100% polyester apparel.

Options for apparel, garment would need to be 65% polyester or higher.

Light colored fabric only.
